The cord with your house is untested and may or may not have a light bulb or working lightbulb. These houses may have signs of light dust on the surface due to having been displayed. Boxes may show ware, minor tears, or other signs of being opened and closed. Our shipping is based on your location, and we do not control that price. We commonly get questions, especially from those in western states, about the cost being high. Please note that we are on the east coast and that may be part of it. Also, these houses, in order to pack and ship properly, have larger dimensions that regularly cause increased pricing from the post office. We feel for you on the shipping, however we can not lower the price.
