Description: LARGE EARLY WOOD DOUGH BOWL TRENCHER This is a really nice old wooden dough bowl with large burls. It is carved from a single piece of wide wood. The bowl has a beautiful grain with deep burls and grain with several large, interesting knots. The bowl is very thick and heavy. It has been cleaned and has a beautiful handrubbed waxed patina.The sides of the bowl are both worn down from use. The bowl measures 25"X 20" in diameter X 10" deep. This is truly a handmade and beautiful piece. A really great early original authentic piece to add to your collection or decor. This bowl is so interesting it should be displayed as a work of art.
