Description: This is a RARE VINTAGE set of FIVE (5) LOUISVILLE GOLF persimmon wood heads from the late 1980s. There are FIVE (5) different wood heads in this box and it is labeled as EXECUTIVE FIREWOOD. The golf heads are raw and incomplete. Four (4) of them are stamped or marked with RED ink and ONE (1) is unmarked (Please see photos for the details of the heads and stamping). The box is approximately 12 inches wide, 5.5 inches deep, and 6 inches tall. It has leather straps holding it together on the sides and leather straps are for the "hinges" and the box tab opener. The box does not close completely and the wood is slightly warped upwards on the lid (see photos). This is a truly unique find as the LOUISVILLE GOLF manufacturing company is no longer the large manufacturer it was many moons ago. They are still hand-making persimmon clubs in Louisville, KY, but on a much smaller scale now. This EXECUTIVE FIREWOOD club heads set would be a great addition to a golf collection or give them as a gift.
