They served in close proximity to the ruling class. More than just warriors, being responsible for military strategy, they were also highly educated. As a walking fortress a Knight was impervious to swords, arrows and other weapons. As firearms were developed the armor lost its advantage and became mostly symbolic. Beautifully cold cast in a polystone resin and then painstakingly hand painted this figurine measures 5" x 3 3/4" x 14" tall.
