Description: LONG WAVE and SHORT WAVE UV Beautiful rough specimen of Chalcedony or in this case is called Fire Agate due to the red Hematite staining. Very attractive colors and botryoidal or "bubble" like forms, the top section is clear. I did not see any iridescent color play but on rough pieces it typically isn't noticeable until polished. Brilliant green fluorescence under short wave UV light and a bit dimmer but still nice under long wave UV. From Mexico.
