Description: Here I have for sale a 1st Oxford World's Classics edition of Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary published in 1959 in hardcover with this attractively illustrated dust jacket. The book is Good with heavily mottled, blue boards, slightly faded gilt and heavily foxed front and rear endpapers. Pictures show this. Still, tight binding and clean, unmarked pages. The dust jacket is VG with one tiny closed tear and several micro chips on corners and top and bottom of spine. Some mild sun darkening. Sun darkening to edges of inside flaps.
