Description: A rare silverplate knife that features the royal crest of the last king of France, King Louis-Philippe. It is marked "Touron bte feur du Roi Rue Richelieu, 113 Paris" which translates roughly to "Touron, patented supplier to the king" + his address in Paris. Touron was in business between 1823-1844. It measures approximately 10 1/4" long and is in used condition with some marks and as small chip on the blade. See pictures. This rare piece would make a great addition to your silverplated flatware collection!
