Description: The Gathering, also referred to as G4Gn (n denoting the number in the series), is a biennial conference that started with G4G1 in 1993. At each Gathering, there are lectures, performance art, puzzle and book displays, close-up and stage magic acts, and guided sculpture building. Traditionally, each conference has a Gift Exchange in which attendees swap puzzles, magic tricks, artwork, mathematical papers, novelty items, books, etc. You will receive at least 20 of the items listed below, (probably more). The following items were exchange gifts from several different Gatherings.G4G10 Wooden Puzzles by Ben ChaffinYou should have ten pieces, all identical in shape -- a 2x2 square with a single cube on top-- but differently painted. Pack them into a 5x5x2 box so that the painted squares spell G on one size, and '4' on the other when flipped sideways like the page of a book. G4G11 Wooden Puzzles by Ben ChaffinYou should have eleven polyomino pieces, with blue stripes on one side and orange on the other. With the orange side up, they fit into a 7x7 square, with all the orange lines aligned. The blue side makes a 5x10 rectangle, again with all lines oriented the same way.
