Author Biography GRAHAM SHIPLEY is Professor of Ancient History at the University of Leicester, and the author of many studies of Greek history that bring together written sources, archaeology, and landscape, such as The Greek World after Alexander (2000) and The Early Hellenistic Peloponnese (Cambridge, 2018). In 2018 he was elected a member of the international association GAHIA, Geography & Historiography in Antiquity.
