The film runs continuously past the film gate, so a film cannot be watched normally as each frame does not remain at gate for the fraction of a second needed for the illusion of continuous movement to be seen. So it is sold FOR PARTS or AS IS. As you can see from the video the projector does otherwise run (BUT I WILL NOT GUARANTEE RUNNING CONDITION; SOLD AS IS!) If you are a good mechanical person with experience in this type of motion picture equipment you can definitely get the entire projector to perform as intended with some work.
