Description: Here is an original 1925 double-sided 17x12 Bromley map of Manhattan. This is Plates 163 & 164, showing the Washington Heights area of Manhattan. The map is in very good condition, protected in a plastic sleeve with a cardboard backer. Plate 163: From the Hudson River to Broadway, and West 157th St to W 163rd St., including Washington Park. Plate 164: From Broadway to Amsterdam Avenue and from West 157th St to W 162nd St. Each color represents the type of structure. Yellow is wood, grey is concrete, blue is iron and pink is brick. The X's through the buildings indicate it is a garage. Brown indicates stone structures. A square with an X indicates elevators.I have 15 maps available; all came from a large NY-themed estate.
