Description: Pair of One of a Kind (OOAK) Cloth Sculpted Dolls depicting Popeye and Olive OilPopeye is 18” and Olive Oil is 22” tallCloth sculpted and dressed from a variety of fabrics including cotton polyester, stockings, lace etc. The clothing is sewn on, I am not able to see any artist signature.Uncertain of date but I would guess 1970’sOlive Oil has yarn hair a drawn on face, buttone earrings and a plastic flower “broach”, her feet are painted.Popeye has a bald head, pinned on hat, sewn on clothing, drawn face and arm tattoo and feet. Feet are covered with polyester fabric. He has a separate corn cob pipe with pint marks on the mouth piece but no evidence it was ever used for tobacco.Popeye has some stains on top of his hat and on his face. Please examine photos closely and feel free to ask questions. I am happy to provide additional details and photographs.
