The hardback cover boards are covered in yellow canvas and are in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition with no scratches or tears; it has minimal fraying along the top, side, and bottom back edges, and at the crown and foot edge of the spine from shelf rubbing, but all is minor. There is a bumped corner on the two top back corners. (Please see pictures as they are part of the description).Spine is intact with a library binding-no loose pages. No creasing. There are two tiny unobtrusive spots on the back cover, but you can barely see them. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. A useful resource for California history.
