Description: For sale is an HO scale PROTO 2000 SD9 Chicago NorthWestern diesel locomotive. The locomotive is working and (in my opinion) moves along nicely - please see the video. However, prior to testing, the locomotive probably wasn't operated in the past 15+ years.A sticker / label on the box (2nd to last photo) indicates "w/dynamic brakes" (in the spirit of being upfront - and see my standard disclaimer below - I'm not sure how to check for the existence of the dynamic brakes). Please know that I am neither a train collector nor one with an extensive (in-depth) knowledge of trains. I am selling a collection of model trains on behalf of someone else who is unable to provide me assistance or guidance. I make a reasonable attempt to provide a representative set of pictures and description based on what I see as an individual without extensive experience in this hobby.
