There are not stains, however the color of the leather is slightly darker and lighter in different areas. There is regular wear with the purse and the leather becomes softer with wear and age. There are not rips, however, under the flap, there is some glue slightly visible which I tried to show in one of the photos. The hardware is distressed brass. Closure is magnetic. There is a zippered pocket on the back. Under the flap, there is a large slip pocket. The interior features a zippered pocket and slip pockets. The purse is from a smoke free home.
