Description: Listed and pictured here is a lot of 50 comics featuring Nathan Summers AKA Cable. He is the son of Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Jean Grey-Summers. Known as “the chosen one”, he was genetically engineered by Mr. Sinister to destroy Apocalypse. As most know, Jean had actually been replaced by Madelyne Pryor, clone of Jean Grey, who was actually presumed dead at that moment. Of course Jean adopted him upon her return. Cable, being created by Sinister as an all-powerful mutant, was immediately subject to being targeted for death. In order to damper his power and make him less of a threat, Apocalypse infected him with a “techno-organic virus”. This virus is metallic and affects Nathan greatly but he keeps it in check as much as possible with his telekinesis. Cable was transported to the future by his parents into the future where he was raised to be a freedom fighter. Since then he has become a habitual time traveler who has fought alongside the X-Men many times. The comics are from various volumes of the Cable ongoing series (majority of the books here), mini-series, guest appearances, team-ups, and spotlights on various teams that Cable has been on!
