Description: John Carpenter's classic 1982 film The Thing on VHS. This specific tape was released in 1996. The box is in overall very good condition, with only minor shelf wear, and some minor sticker residue on the back, and some very light marking on the front in the letters (see photos). The box is still very glossy, and shows little to no evidence of fading. The tape itself is very clean, and had no issues with video or sound when playing through the opening credits and first scene of the movie (see screenshots of playback in photos - please note that wavy lines are not present when viewing, it it just how it looks when photographing the TV screen with a camera). Not a perfect copy by any means, but certainly a nice enough playable copy to add to the video collection or even just to put on display.
