Description: **Please see my pictures and notes on the damages. A beautiful and rare, monumental pair of porcelain cockatoo parrots perchedon a tree branch. Made with great realism and attention to the details for the 1920's. They are hand painted in remarkably vivid and realistic colors at the famous Karl Ens factory in Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany. Marked to the bottom with the ENS windmill Germany mark and an embossed model number that appears to be 7459 that is hard to see. I can not confirm the exact year they were made as the 1920's. Approximate measurements; Height: 10 inch Length: 7.5 inch Width:5.4 inch **It is a pre-owned,antique, estate find that unfortunately is not be perfect. The white branch of flowers have two small nicks. The white tree leaves/flowers have two ends broken off. The large bird has a chip on his feathers and a rough spot along his wing. The small bird has a nick on one side of the tail wing. It also has a chip on the other sidethat was touched up by the prior owner. The feathers have some rough edges. The large bird has a nick on the top of his feathers. This one is very light and was hard to see. All the damages are shown and identified in the last 7 pictures. If you can live with the flaws, it is a very desirable piece that displays well. It is priced to reflect the damages, reasonable offerswill be considered.
