The binding is unsigned, research indicates a trade bindery, likely in London, ca 1875, but there is no definite proof. Beautiful, decorative endpapers. The imperfections to the leather covers, in my opinion, add to the interest, beauty and originality of this copy. Raised bands to spine, beautiful tan/gilt (see pictures). As noted under Condition, the print is very small. The illustrations are very special, interesting and appealing to collectors.
