Description: This is a Vintage MCM Lipper & Mann Ceramic Bird Planter, featuring a mother and baby bird with wings outstretched on a tree stump, and made in Japan. The bird planter has a figural design and features a large bird perched on a tree stump with spread wings next to a baby bird in shades of yellow, green, orange and brown on an off-white base. The planter measures approximately 6" long x 4" wide x 5.5" tall and is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition. The piece shows a few small spots of misapplied paint (under the glaze--manufacturing artifact) on the back of the large bird. In addition, there is a "wrinkle" or ligth depression in the ceramic on one of the wings which is another manufacturing artifact--it is NOT A CRACK. Please see pictures for details.
