These stunning beauties are dinner plate size and have a very pleasant but mild fragrance. The flowers appear in the summer time and they open up at night and are closed back up before sunrise and they only last for one night. Fortunately, they appear in succession. The Night Blooming Cactus needs bright shade conditions, dry winters and moist summers. Fertilization is also average, less during the colder months and more during the warmer months. Freezing temperatures should be avoided. The plant does not have to be big to bloom. A 10" - 14" pot with a trellis should be enough to make the plant happy and see flowers.
