Description: Lunt Sterling Silver, Monticello Pattern, Flat Handle Master Butter Knife, 7 inch, 1908 Greenfield MA, D Monnogram, Collectible Replacement This is a stunning 7-inch flat-handle master butter knife by Lunt Silver in their Monticello pattern, made in the Victorian style. Lunt Silversmiths, Greenfield, MA. In 1901, the Rogers Lunt and Bowlen Company purchased Towle & Son Manufacturing Company tools and trademark. The Monticello pattern originated in 1908. This knife is in excellent antique condition. It is a family knife so the monogram is either D for Drury or, most likely, C for Carter.
