MA 1953 Madame Alexander Wendy Kin BKW DOLL in Rare White Rainy Day Outfit (2496

Description: This is one of our Madame Alexander-kin Wendy KIN BKW Bent Knee Walker Dolls wearing a very rare tagged White with Red Dress Rainy Day Outfit. She is from the 400 series of Wendy-Kin dolls. She is marked ALEX on her back. Her triple-stitched hair is in pigtails with a few little flyaways. She has very pretty blue eyes that open and close as they should and really nice high cheek color. Her legs are a little bit loose so her walker is not fully working. We can easily pose her arms. Her body, arms and legs are in nice condition with light marks or rubs on them. We have kept her carefull stored for some time. We will include her doll stand so that you can securely display her. Her Rainy Day Outfit includes the white coat with matching hat. Coat has a Wendy-Kin tag on back collar with brass closures on the front. Coat is in nice condition with some tarnish to the brass and fixtures a little bit loose in areas. Hat has a red bow and gold chin strap and is also in nice condition. We have kept both pieces separately stored to keep them nice, clean and soft. Her pretty red dress is sleeveless with white trim and closes in the back with two sets of signature square snaps. It is in nice, clean condition. Matching underpants are also nice and clean with the elastic relaxing a bit now. Her red boots with smooth bottoms are in good condition with some rubs or marks on them. Have added white current homemade tube socks to protect her legs more. A truly adorable and rarely seen set that has been quite treasured.
