Description: PLEASE READ REVISIONS@@@I have for your bidding/buying consideration a wonderful one of a kind duo created by bear artists Kate Berlin & Mary Dowd. Their creations were based on the children's book called Teddy Bear Picture Book which was printed and made in Great Britain. It's about the antics & friendship of a character doll and a Teddy Bear. Kate handcrafted the doll and made his glorious outfit which matches the book character perfectly. He is made of felt, as is most of his outfit, but for his silk tie. His hair is long mohair and his face is sculpted with a cute nose and prominent chin. His legs are stitched at the hip and the knees for greater posability. Mary crafted the Teddy from golden German mohair. He has wool felt pawpads which are airbrushed and stitched with perle cotton thread, as is his perfect nose. His head is center seam stitched and his front turned cub ears are airbrushed as well as his green glass eyes, and snout. His stuffing is poly & pellets. He wears a handmade tie like his book counterpart. This pair has been with me since being purchased in 2002. Book is included and is an antique.
