The estate-fresh pieces we list are for you.Some run; some do not but none have been cleaned, oiled and calibrated, so whether it is running at the time of this writing or not, one must have the piece serviced before wearing it as an everyday driver.For example, this ‘60s Helbros wristwatch with solid stainless steel back; base metal bezel is a good-looking piece, indeed, measuring approx. 39mm by 34mm in diameter (!) with fetching bar markers and unusual “parking meter” date function. It is a fine old thing with its original automatic movement and clear crystal. Looks to have brought someone many years of pleasure and is consequently a bit worse for wear, yet dial and hands are quite nice. PLEASE NOTE: Runs when shaken but can’t set the time, as need a crown. We’ve taken the liberty of fitting it with a serviceable N.O.S. strap. While it is a handsome Mid-Century Retro kinda wristwatch runs when shaken, it must be serviced and have a crown installed before being worn to get one to the church on time.
