Description: This is a rare inspected rebuilt ribcage transmission for MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite models 1966-1974. This was rebuilt using straight cut close ratio gears for racing, track use or street use. This may be a little noisier than stock but will transfer power better. This unit comes with a 90-day warranty and was obtained in a buyout. Great to have as a spare or to replace your rusty worn-out unit. The gears, bearings and seals have all been replaced with new racing heavy duty units. This was remanufactured by John Stamps Racing and the part used alone are more than the asking price. This has never been installed in a car and is ready to use and is being sold dirt cheap with no core charge.
