Description: Mid Century Modern Candle Holder 15”x 9” MOD RARE CALIF USA 1963 RETRO! An amazing piece of mid century modern ceramic history! This fabulous candle holder was made by CALIF USA in the 1960 - there is a permanent marker stating “63“, that was on the piece when I purchased it. The design is very unique and unusual and it holds five thin candles. The colors are fabulous very recognizable retro orange and each candleholder is a different color and gives the illusion of dripping wax. The piece measures 15 inches long and 9 inches wide and weighs 2 lbs. 11 oz. There is a model or mold number as part of the identification. I researched the model number and found similar pieces in the orange color but not one that was like this absolutely fabulous retro candle holder - I’m pretty good at my Internet research so it is my belief that this is a very rare and unique hard to find design. I find no damage, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, it is in wonderful vintage condition. Please review all photos to see size, color, design, and condition.
