Made in England, the set includes a bouillon cup, fruit bowl, saucer, salad plate, luncheon plate, and dinner plate, all featuring the beautiful multicolor flower theme of Minton's Rose. The production style is fine china, and the backstamp is printed. This vintage set is in excellent condition, with each piece showing only minor signs of wear and tear. Whether you're looking to add to your collection or just starting out, this Minton's Rose set is sure to impress. Pattern Description: Floral Swags, Smooth Edge, Red Trim, Older, Globe Backstamp. Discontinued. Actual: 1867 - ? (Newer versions of this pattern were also made with modern backstamps.) Maker's marks and Dates of Production: Many pieces of this collection listed displays the "Revised basic printed Globe mark with Crown above" that was used from ca. 1873 until 1912; the word 'England' was added from 1891 on. Condition: Excellent Plus condition for the age of the china. The colors are bright and show very little wear. Some plates have light utensil marks and all pieces have light to moderate shelf wear. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, except where shown in photograph and listed as slightly damaged. See photos.
