Description: Here is a really interesting 68 year old vintage movie magazine entitled - “Modern Screen” . This is the August 1956 issue - Volume 50 Number 8. There are 92 pages in this magazine and it is profusely illustrated with black and white illustrations and some colored illustrations. There are numerous vintage advertisements including clad 1950 movies like “The King and I” and others. Many interesting articles about 1950 movie stars including Elvis, Jack Lemmon, Debbie Reynolds, Deborah Kerr, Rhonda Fleming and others. Great movie star magazine for collectors of vintage movie star material. Magazine is in acceptable condition. There is a well flattened vertical crease on covers and pages - perhaps from being folded for mailing purposes. There is the remains of paste on address label in the lower right corner of front cover. Bottom right corner of front cover and bottom left corner of back cover is dented in and creased at the tip. Spine has moderate wear and wear through at the top and bottom of spine. The top one inch of the spine is split. No other creases, no other tears, no odors, no writing.
