Description: For sale is a N Scale Kato EMD GP38-2, painted for Union Pacific, #2040. I bought it used many years ago. The locomotive is in good condition and runs well. It is a DC version model and I have no idea how hard it would be to convert to DCC or add sound. It has Rapido style couplers installed. The reason it is listed at a lower price than other similar locomotives is because there is a visible repair to the left/front stairs. It looks like the bottom stair step was damaged and another one added. Please be aware of this before you decide to buy it.
