Description: The post office seems to have recently taken WEIGHT into greater account when calculating rates, and even at $9, I lose money on ALL but the lightest-weight garments. My NEW POLICY is to refund the buyer for the difference between $9 (or $18 or $27, etc.) and the ACTUAL COST of insured Priority shipping, if it's less than those amounts, including multiple items purchased and sent at the same time. NOTE: Just as I was convinced that I had reached the bottom of my wife's seemingly endless wardrobe of plus-size designer clothing, I found a huge plastic bag with more treasures! There are several higher-end designer pieces that I'm NOT going to price aggressively at first, simply because they attract more page views, but there are many more unique pieces from less well-known labels that I will price competitively. I've given away virtually all of her Making It Big and Ulla Popken clothing because it's just not worth my time to sell it, but this latest discovery contains some pieces that are so unique from a design standpoint that I've decided to list them. My wife had an amazing eye for fashion, so this latest might be worth a look! I try to price eBay items aggressively so they sell quickly, but I have learned over time that my estimation of what a bargain price should be can be faulty. So my plan of action is to list items on eBay for what I believe is an attractive price based on research of a particular designer, or even my remembrance of what motivated my wife to collect a specific article of clothing or shoes, with a few pieces of designer jewelry included as I come across them. If they don't sell within a week or so, I intend to lower the price by $1, $5 or even $10, with that pattern repeated till one of the loyal "watchers" becomes a valued buyer. I've knocked $63 OFF the starting BIN price of $95, and I'll reduce the price by another $5 for every week it doesn't sell until it hits $50, after which I'll reduce it by $1 per week. This adorable HEBBEDING sweater has a "1" size tag, which I'm calling a 2X based on experience, but please check ALL measurements below to make certain that it will work for you! The fabric care tag icons indicate that hand washing in cool water is recommended, with the implication that laying the sweater out on a towel to dry is also advised, though I can't interpret the icons in that respect. The materials tag states that it's made from 100% Linen. (NOTE: Hebbeding is a Dutch label, though it's not indicated on the garment itself.) The sweater's unstretched circumference at the bust and waist is approximately 58" (as extrapolated by measuring the 29" diameter between the side seams), and 72" around or 36" across when fully extended, hence my 2X size estimate. The length of the tunic in front is about 25" from the top of the designer label, and roughly 21" to the back hem from that same point. The lace-up front is secured with a 1/8" diameter white Linen cord, laced through 4 large decorative pewter-colored grommets. The "lapels" have a pointed area near the neckline that is visible in the photos. The length of the long sleeves is about 32" from the break at the shoulders to the slightly angled knitted hems. The diameter of the sleeve openings is roughly 6", or 12" in circumference. There is a MOST adorable small pocket measuring about 2 1/2" wide by 2" high near the left waist area in front, which serves primarily as a location for the vertical HEBBEDING label, though it would carry a book of cardboard matches. There are NO SLITS in the bottom knitted hem. This item has been stored in a climate-controlled location and is in perfect condition. Insured USPS Priority Mail shipping is $9. I have NOT had any complaints about shipping delays, and I'll send the buyer an active link to the USPS tracking number, which seems to have been improved in terms of accuracy.
