Description: The best thing about this frame is its beautiful patina. The remnant gold and pale green, looking like a wash, is most likely the result of oxidation. The combination is quite enhancing. It is neither color but both. This frame has four notched layers with pinwheel rosettes centered on the corner intersections. Sight size is about 4 1/4" x 6". I do not sell or ship internationally! I took this photo years ago in the Bell Rock burying ground in Malden, Massachusetts. It is the original slate gravestone for Capt Edward Sprague who died in 1715. It was carved by James or John Foster of Dorchester. Slate holds carving wonderfully unless vandalized. The photo was archivaly developed and printed by me. [Boston Primitive]
