Description: Offering this antique original Victorian ivory lace shawl, collar, or pelerine. I have photographed it on an antique gown I have for sale in another listing but wanted to show how it may be worn. The detail of the lace is better shown in my photos taken against a deep blue velvet sofa. It is in very fine condition and is clean with no stains or discoloration. I have examined it carefully and can only see two tiny pinholes in one part of the fine net. All the edges are scalloped. Measurements are with lace lying flat; the upper edge near the neckline is rounded and measures 32" long from edge to edge. The bottom edge has a deeper rounded V-shape and is 64" long end to end.
