Original Vintage "C.Silver" Art Nouveau Floral Repousse 1800's Match Safe Case.

Description: This Listing Is For One, Original, late 1800's/early 1900's, Vintage Silver Art Nouveau Floral Repousse Match Safe Case This Silver Case is in good shape for its age as the pictures above show. It was my Great Grandfathers case and it is shown as found and stored with original patina. FYI, since I am not a jeweler or collector, I did not want to hurt the finish by trying to polish and shine up this case, thus I left the tarnish as shown. Lid works very well and hinge and spring action snaps cover closed with ease. He did not get his initials engraved on this case and it is marked "C. SILVER" on the inside of the case, (See pictures above). Knowing it's past history to date it from my Great Grandfather life, is how I dated the approximate age of this unique rare item. Its outside dimensions are approximately 2 1/2" tall X 1 1/2" wide X 5/8" depth. Note: Please see all the pictures above for more details.
