Description: For your consideration is a classic three-piece suit from the esteemed firm of Oxxford Clothing in size 42/43 long. Handmade in Chicago of the finest wool in a rich navy blue tic-weave, this sophisticated garment will be a welcome addition to the refined man's closet. This suit is as far from Oxxford's traditional stuffiness as can be and is close to its elegant 1930s period and London's Savile Row. The jacket is akin to Huntsman with its single-breasted one button front with peak lapels, besom pockets and side vents. The single-breasted non-lapel vest has an unusual seven button closure while the cuffed trousers have side straps and a high fishtail back to be worn with braces/suspenders. Please note: this garment came from an estate and is listed as is and as shown. Any cleaning, pressing or alterations are the responsibility of the buyer. It is in very fine condition and has been cared for properly, ensuring many more years of wear. A new version of this suit would near $6000 minimum.
