Description: This offering is for a rare, vintage 1967 Mid Century Modern Cubist fine art lithograph print of Les Demoiselles D'Avignon by Pablo Picaso. The Cubist lithograph was published by The Museum of Modern Art, New York and printed in The Netherlands in 1967 in an unnumbered limited edition. The print features the iconic artwork image created by Picaso in 1907. This lithograph is long out of print and the only one we could locate with the same 1967 Netherlands markings was priced at over $7000. The print, as issued, measured 27 x 29. This print measures approx. 24 x 28 having been trimmed a little to fit into the frame used by a previous owner. The trimming was only in the border area and not in the image area. There is a tear at the top left-hand corner and some signs of handling as you can see. There is a brown stain of some sort on the reverse as shown. We have tried to show the artwork as best we can so, please contact us if you need additional information. This offering was the only one besides the one mentioned above that has The Museum of Modern Art, New York and the 1967 Netherlands printing info we could locate and believe it to be a desirable piece despite the border issues.
