Description: If you live in Omaha, Nebraska or are from Omaha, you'll want this great set of official roller derby skates that come in a metal case from the Crosstown Roller Rink in Omaha, Nebraska. From what I've learned, Crosstown opened in the 1930's and was open until 1959. The skates are in great condition. I cannot find a size on these skates but they measure about 10 1/2" from the tip to the rear of the heel. If I had to guess, I would say women's size 7 or 8. (No guarantees on this guess) They have wooden wheels that are marked "Royal Perfection No. 98J" from Birmingham, Michigan. The tow brakes are marked Rice Bros. Mfg. of Council Bluffs, Iowa. The case shows some wear and has some cracks which are shown in the photos. A great piece of Omaha sports history and would be a great addition to any sports bar or man cave. Don't miss out.
