Description: PAIR (SET OF 2) Vtg DOUBLE HAPPINESS Asian BLUE & WHITE Porcelain GINGER JARS W LIDS Large Cobalt Blue & White, Chinese in origin. Size: Approx. 10" high with a large 26.5" circumference. 3.75" opening at top. 6.5" diameter round bases. Lids are 1 1/8" high x 4.5" diameter across Stunning hand painted white porcelain is covered with graceful curving leaves and repeated Double Happiness symbols on jars and lids. Pattern repeats 3 times around each jar. Border trim of blue edging lines. Heavy, lovely handmade pieces. Completely hand painted in shades of cobalt blue- these are not the less expensive versions with a stamped-on pattern. As they are completely handmade/hand painted, they may vary slightly in size and decoration here and there, which is part of their unique charm Very nice condition, as found. No damage nicks, chips, cracks, crazing or repair to urns or lids. Very clean inside and out with no sign of usage or wear. A very special and highly collectible heirloom set. Would look stunning in any setting. These look especially wonderful flanking a mantle, bookshelf, large table, etc or even on the floor at the base of a lovely piece Ships fully insured and with tracking provided Because these are estate items I have no history.
