Description: A beautiful vintage pendant from the Egyptian Revival period of the 1970s featuring the sarcophagus mask of King Tutankhamun. This is a highly detailed item, with a nice 3D depth, ready for you to add to your favorite chain.Item likely was originally gold plated, but has seen lots of use, so there is some wear of the gold color. Pendant is approx. 1 7/8" wide and approx. 2 1/2" tall and 1" deep with great detail. A sturdy bail is fixed onto the back for adding the pendant to a chain of your choice. A unique opportunity to have a nice vintage item in your collection. Weighs approx. 1.9 oz. Marked 'MMA 1976' on the reverse.Item has been wiped with a clean cloth - any other additional cleaning is at the discretion of the buyer. Sold as-is in good pre-owned condition with some surface wear. Most wear is on the raised portions of the design around the face. May have been gold plated, but there is some wear now.
