Description: Phildar "Akala" - Lot of 5 cakes Akala has matte finish, and is very soft. Made in Spain. This is a popular designer yarn that’s versatile & pleasing to knit. It also dyes very well, which is why I have have too much yarn.The cakes were created from nine(9) original Phildar balls overdyed, and wound into cakes.. Four cakes have two balls & one cake has one ball. These were overdyed with professional dye (ProChem). The yarn is washable and the dyes were set properly with fixer. But, I recommend that you prewash each cake separately from other fiber for a couple of washings. There will be a small amount of dye released because this is an intense color.
