Description: DESCRIPTION: Platinum medaka ricefish, these are metallic silver, with some having black markings on nose or stripes down back. As they are shiny metallic they are difficult to photograph as they glow in the sun. Currently kept outdoors in my pond in San Diego, CA. They can handle a wide variety of water parameters and temperatures. They have been known to over winter under ice and below freezing temperatures, but also may be kept indoors. When a group is ordered I will provide a mix of male and female. These fish breed easily and attach their eggs to plants or spawning mops. SHIPPING: Shipping is via FEDEX 2 day. I will typically only send orders on Monday or Tuesday to prevent any delays occurring over weekend.
