Description: WE COMBINE SHIPPING - JUST LET US KNOW YOUR BIDDING PLANS. WE REFUND EXCESS POSTAGE. DISPOSING (SLOWLY) OF A VERY LARGE, LIFELONG COLLECTION OF POCKET KNIVES. ONLY POSTING A COUPLE A DAY SO BOOKMARK ME FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. NOTE - no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos. A mint condition Cold Steel Tanto with brass furniture (cross guard, pommel). Complete with original sheath with some light wear (no attempt made to clean up). This dates to between 1984 and 1992. Measures approximately 11 inches long, tip to end of pommel. Tanto blade measures approximately 5 inches long, edge only. Obverse etched “Tanto”. Reverse tang etched Cold Steel Ventura Calif Made in Japan”. (Note – these tang markings are one of four variants that exist). Black checkered Kraton rubber grips. Brass cross guard. Brass pommel/skull crusher with lanyard hole. Sheath with single belt loop and hook and loop closure. Blade condition is mint. Brass furniture tarnished – no attempt made to clean it up. The sheath (stamped “Japan”) has some light usage wear but remains complete and serviceable. Please see the photos. Please see the detailed photos which form part of the description.
