Description: PS4 cuh 1001a (launch model) for parts. Manufactured September 2013, technically turns on. It has a 2016 PS4 slim Toshiba hdd, I'll send it with a power cable. It has fairly recent thermal paste, and some thermal pads have been replaced. The fan was also been replaced around the same time(quartelee PS4 fan). I think Jan, of this 2024. The disc drive has a board that is fried, which makes the disc drive unusable. Sony will not let you update or install the system software without a working disc drive. Also has damage to the exterior, one metal plate has a burnt spot from the melted chip. PSU is good as far as I can tell. I believe it can be repaired by soldering a chip over, you'd have to look it up. I have included the hdd health in the photos, it still works, just this PlayStation doesn't.
