John Wright's Red Clover Fairy comes to you right out of the illustrations of Cicely Mary Barker's Flower Fairies books. She was made for a luncheon at the second R. John Wright convention in 2010 to honor the state of Vermont for which the red clover is the state flower. She is #101 of only 250 doll made for the event, and she has a bee on the flower she holds--only the first 150 of the edition have the bee. She stands 8 1/5" tall, made of the finest all-wool felt. She is fully jointed (5 joints) and she has hand painted features, a wig of fine mohiar and hand painted silk wings. She has her R.John Wright brass button and tag; the tag is signed by R. John Wright. She comes with her certificate of authenticity, illustrated ticket to the event and an illustrated Flower Fairies Brochure that tells you about the dolll and Cicely Mary Barker. Made in Bennington, Vermont. ConditionR. John Wright's Red Clover Fairy is brand new, mint in the original box, signed by R. John Wright.
