Description: This rare 1910s English “Bond of Union" hinged tobacco tin, measuring 3 3/4” x 5” x 1 3/4”, is in good condition with no dents, some small superficial rust spots on the interior bottom and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge is in excellent working order. This very attractive multicolored tin features a detailed image of a group composed of a Scottish, English and Irish gentlemen seated on the grass enjoying each other's company while smoking pipes. The tobacco was manufactured by the Cope Brothers & Co, Ltd., Liverpool and London, England.
