Description: Up for Auction is this BEAUTIFUL RARE 19th Century Hand Painted Stoneware Majolica Jardiniere Centerpiece Bowl / Vase. It is Composed of Hand Painted Stoneware Pottery with 22Kt Gold Accents. It has beautifully detailed water side scenery with flowers and in the Center of the Bowl / Vase has a Beautiful Heron on each side. Inside that is a Satin looking Pink Color.The jardiniere is embellished with 22kt Gold accents and a colorful floral decoration throughout. It is marked under the base WS & S which is Wilhelm Schiller & Sons on a raise scrolled Cartouche and it is stamped / impressed with the number 7860. It also still has the export sticker on the bottom (see pictures) This Beautiful RARE piece is made by Wilhelm & Schiller & Sons and is dated between 1885-1914 due to those are the dates WS & S were in operation and was made in Bohemia which was Czechoslovakia during those dates of production. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITHOUT ISSUES, CHIPS, ETC. THE ONLY THING THAT I SEE IS ON THE BOTTOM WERE THERE IS A MANUFACTURING MISTAKE, BUT IT CANNOT BE SEEN WHEN PLACED ON THE FURNITURE. This Beautiful Piece Measurements approx. at the top 12 1/2" long x 5 1/2" Wide x 7" Tall and weighs 3 lbs. without secure packaging. THIS PIECE WAS FROM MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER'S COLLECTION WHICH WAS VAST WITH BEAUTIFUL EXPENSIVE ITEMS AND THEY TRAVELED THE WORLD. SHE PASSED AWAY MORE THAN 50+ YEARS AGO AND LIVED TO BE 104 YEARS OLD. I HAVE HAD ALL OF HER ITEMS SECURELY PACKED AWAY FOR MANY YEARS. I WOULD LOVE TO FIND A NEW LOVING HOME TO BE ENJOYED AND LOVED AGAIN.
