Description: For sale is a very rare A Bathing Ape Bapex "Pepsi Clear" watch. This watch was imported to me straight from Japan. Below are details about the watch and the condition it is in, please view this information thoroughly before purchasing the watch. Has been freshly installed with a new battery as of the time of listing.Overall condition: Decent. The crystal is overall clear and the watch is free of any outstanding cosmetic wear. There are some small specks of debris inside the dial. Unfortunately there are breaks on two of the lug ends (pictured above), the broken off pieces are missing. Interestingly this doesn't appear to impact the stability of the bands connection to the watch, I believe the first links are actually fused to the case. While a bit unsightly, it is still wearable despite the broken lug ends. Some of the band links have also started to rust, which has caused discoloration in parts of the clear band. These both appear to be common issues from the Bapex Clear line of watches. The case and band are replaceable, although it may prove to be a challenge to find original replacement parts.Other Notes: Extremely rare model. A vast majority of the pre-owned watches I get come to me with some amount of grime on them. If this grime is notable, I will gently clean it off with isopropyl alcohol. However, I do not deep clean the watches. There may still be grime on the watch, especially in hard to clean spots such as between band links or between the lugs. For watches that use batteries, I only use proper silver oxide 1.55 volt watch batteries, NOT cheap 1.5 volt mercury batteries. This doesn't apply to some digital watches that specifically use 1.5 volt coin cell batteries, such as a majority of Casio G-Shocks. Batteries are fresh as of the time of listing the watches unless otherwise noted, based on how long the watch has been listed the time before having to replace the battery once you obtain it varies. For watches that have water-resistance ratings, I would recommend against diving with them until you have a professional reseal the watch and replace the gasket.
