You are bidding on a rare Young Nala maquette from the Disney classic animated feature, The Lion King. It is an original casting in scale with the other official maquettes from the film. Measuring 9" h x 10" l and 5" w. This maquette is ‘unofficial’ as there wasn’t a ‘young’ Nala maquette created for the film, only adult Nala. Electric Tiki Design owner and Young Nala Clean-up lead on the film had this special piece commissioned by legendary Disney maquette sculptor Ruben Procopio. It was sculpted in clay to match the original maquettes from the movie and professionally cast by a master mold maker. Only 4 were created. #1 (the painted version seen in the listing, not for sale) belongs to clean up lead Tracy Mark Lee, #2 belongs to supervising animator Aaron Blaise, #3 belongs to sculptor Ruben Procopio and #4 is available here. This is the original casting in gray resin seen here. It was cast in two separate parts, base/body and separate tail. Here is your opportunity to own a unique piece of Disney memorabilia.
