Description: This rare REDHEAD is believed to be Koa wood. Other Wendell redheads are made from less desirable mahogany. This does have some damage. There is a ding that has created a roughly 4 inch crack. It has been repaired, the ding is mostly smooth and the crack does not seem to have gone through the whole body. There is also some damage where the string attaches at the bridge. The string was still able to attach before it broke. There is also a small ding on the. Barack left edge. All seen in photos. Can be repaired. It still sounds great, no buzzing from the damage. Very unique piece.
