Description: RARE Vintage Wind Up Distler US Zone Germany Tin Toy Cars and Track This is a 1940s wind up tin toy manufactured in US Zone Germany. I believe the cars were made by Distler but there are no makers marks on the cars. The cars have working wind up mechanisms with key (Key says Minic but may not be original but works to wind up cars). When the cars bump into something the cars reverse direction. There is some paint loss in small areas but generally in good condition. The cars are approximately 4" long. The figure 8 track shows wear from use with some paint loss. There is one cross track and ten curved tracks to make up the figure 8 track. This is a rare vintage collectable for your collection! Please see pictures for actual condition.
